ASKA was founded and began developing  the world’s first flying car, an aerodynamic 4-seater drive & fly eVTOL

Our first office was located in Mountain View, CA, known in the early days of Silicon Valley as the birthplace of tech startups, and today is home to industry leaders

Pre-orders for the limited edition of ASKA™ A5 began

Our company is on the news radar and reported in TechCrunch, WSJ, USA Today, Forbes, CNET, NBC, CBS, the Robb Report etc

ASKA™ A5 gains visibility in the luxury car market and is showcased at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering, and Monterey Car Week

AT CES Las Vegas, we presented a full-size concept model of ASKA™’s cockpit and dashboard. This was a technological first for the air mobility sector and enabled visitors to have a thrilling, immersive experience of what it will be like to drive and fly with ASKA™

Our founders are recognized as futurists, requested speakers (TechTalk, TEDx, Think with Google, Revolution Aero, NEPCON, Rotary Club, Automotive Computing Conference, SLUSH, SNUG etc) and receive awards for their management expertise (Inc., Bloomberg etc)

As ASKA grew, so did our need for a larger headquarters. Our growing company is based in a new facility in Mountain View that integrates a large fully-equipped production site

ASKA™ A5 is the world’s first flying car to start the Type Certification process with the FAA

2023

2023  Fully-functional prototype debuted at CES Las Vegas

The four-seater ASKA™️ A5 drives on the road like a car, capable of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), as well as short takeoff and landing (STOL), and flies as an aircraft.

  • The A5 received two Best of Show Design Awards at CES 2023

ASKA™️ A5 is on the road, performing driving tests around Silicon Valley. The full scale prototype was awarded the FAA's Certificate of Authorization (COA) and Special Airworthiness Certification.

Liftoff for ASKA™ A5 – the full-scale prototype of the A5 flying car successfully aced its first airborne tests, lifting from an airfield with hovered thrust while the vehicle was tethered to the ground.
